Lake Ontario report:
The wind was an issue the last couple of days but conditions have settled down with waves 0-1 foot today. We will have to see how things set up over the next day or so. Anglers were finding some brown trout in 15-40 feet of water using stickbaits and small spoons. Salmon were active further out in 80-150 feet of water with spoons being the choice of bait. A reminder that bass season opens this weekend.
Oswego River report:
The water has dropped significantly over the last couple of days running at 1130cfs this morning. Anglers are continuing to take walleye with stickbaits. Sheepshead and smallmouth bass have also been active and a reminder that bass season opens this weekend.

Pulaski Area and Salmon River report:
Conditions on the lake have been difficult the last couple of days with the wind. There is a definite improvement this morning with waves 0-1 foot. Brown trout have been active in 10-40 feet of water along the eastern end of the lake. Anglers are finding a few salmon in deeper water and bass season opens tomorrow.
According to the Douglaston Salmon Run:
It has been rather quiet on the run the last couple of days. We did have some wind and rain and a noted increase in water temperature reaching 66 degrees at one point. It has dropped to a respectable 60 degrees with the release at the dam 185cfs and a reported flow of 231cfs at the Pineville gauge. Just a note that bass season opens this weekend. A reminder that there is a scheduled white water release (400cfs) for June 23 and 24.
Oneida Lake report:
Reports are indicating the walleye action has slowed down but anglers are continuing to find some action in the 15-35 foot range. Bucktail jigs and blade-style baits are working well. Bass season opens this weekend so look for them in more shallow water and along the shoals. Plastics, crankbaits and bass jigs are suggested. The pickerel bite has also been good.
Sandy Pond report:
Anglers are continuing to pick up a few walleye along with some perch. Bass season opens this weekend so expect a little more activity on the pond. Stickbaits, crankbaits, jigs, small minnows and nightcrawlers are working well.
