Manford Michael Lehne

Manford Michael Lehne, 54, of Sterling, died November 21, 2009 after a long illness.

Born in Fulton, he was a lifelong resident of Sterling. Manford graduated from Red Creek Central School in 1973 and the National Hardwood Lumber Inspection School in Memphis, TN in 1980. He was an avid reader, enjoyed music and his sense of humor was uplifting to his family and friends. Manford was predeceased by his parents, Manford Charles Lehne and Eleanor Ames Lehne.

Surviving are: two sisters, Patricia Cooper Maxon of Sterling and Priscilla Kittren of Hannibal; one brother, Peter Lehne of Sterling; three nephews and two nieces.

A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, December 4, 2009 at the Emmanuel Baptist Bible Church, Route 104, Martville. There are no calling hours. Foster Funeral Home, Hannibal has charge of arrangements.
