Charlotte Thompson, 85; of Bakeman St. Fulton died Saturday at Sunrise Nursing Home, Oswego after a long illness.

Mrs. Thompson was born in Fulton and she has been a resident of the Hannibal and Fulton areas all of her life.  She was past employed with Hannibal School District at Fairley Elementary as a Lunch Lady, and she worked for Oswego Hospital as a Home Health Aide.  Mrs. Thompson was a devoted mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed reading and doing puzzles.

She was pre-deceased by her husband Milford “Tom” Thompson.  She is survived by her children:  Gay Anne (Cornelius) Donahue of Hannibal, Sandra (James) Long of Sterling, Lee (Robin) McMillen, Tina Allen, and Ray (Sherry) McMillen all of Hannibal, several grandchildren and great grandchildren and her faithful feline companion “Chance.”

Memorial Services will be held 7 pm Thursday at Emmanuel Baptist Bible Church. There will be no calling hours.  Burial will be private.  Contributions: Emmanuel Baptist Bible Church-Building Fund, Route 104, Martville, NY 13111.

Arrangements are in the care of the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton.

JAMES AND I WERE CHARLOTTES NEXT DOOR NEIGHBORS AT 52 BAKEMAN STREET AND JUST LOVED HER SO MUCH AND OF COURSE WE MOVED SEVEN YEARS AGO…CERTAINLY MISSED HER IN THOSE SEVEN YEARS ON HER RIDING LAWNMOWER AND JUST HER BEING OUTSIDE…..SHE WILL BE SADLY MISSED BY SO MANY FRIENDS….GOD BLESS ALL OF HER FAMILY IN THIS TIME….
