Marjorie Brewer Keller, 91, died of congestive heart failure on Monday, September 8th at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse.  A 60-year member and former deaconess of the First Congregational Church in Fulton, she was at one time president of its women’s fellowship.  She  was also a former member of the Salvation Army Auxiliary and the Red Cross.  In earlier days, she was advertising manager of the former Hunter Arms Company in Fulton and instructional manager for the Easy Washing Machine Corp. in Syracuse.

She is survived by two children: Christopher Keller of Medford, N.Y., and Kathleen Watterson of Las Vegas, Nev.; a niece, Marjorie Jacob Miller of Tennessee; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Clifford G. Keller, and her elder daughter, Bonnie Keller Stock.

Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Friday with services immediately thereafter at 7 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton.  Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the Keller family requests that donations be sent in Marjorie’s memory to the Zach Dievendorf Benefit Fund, 503 West First Street South, Fulton, N.Y., 13069.

  1. My sympathies. I am the daughter & grandaughter of ex tennants of the little gray house that sits on the river from back in the early 90’s. My sister and I used to go to church with Mrs. Kellar. I remember her well and what a wonderful woman she was.

  2. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Chris and Marg and their families. My dad Ernie was your mom’s cousin. He spoke of her often and loved to visit her with his sister Luella.
