OSWEGO – May 19, 2024, Linda’s McCann, 76, of Oswego died Sunday May 19, 2024 in Albany Medical Center, Albany, NY after a brief illness.
She was born in Fulton, NY; the daughter of the lateJames and Eva (Brown) Ritchie. She remained a lifetime resident of Fulton until moving to Oswego, NY ten years ago. Linda was self-employed as a private cleaning lady. She enjoyed puzzles and gardening.
Linda was pre-deceased by her husband Morris McCann and their children: Morris McCann, Connie McCann, Angel Rose McCann, Carolyn McCann and Missy McCann.
She is survived by her children: Stephen McCann of Ithaca, NY; Catherine Hennigan of Oswego, NY and Michael (Tammie) McCann of Oswego, NY; her sister: Sandra Waloven Carter of NC, 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no Funeral Service or Calling Hours. Burial will be held privately.
The arrangements are in the care of theSugar & Scanlon Funeral Home 147 W. 4th. St Oswego.
Linda was my mother in law but to me she was more than that. she was my mother and best friend all rolled into one great person. I will miss you forever but realize your in a better place now.
