Members of the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office charged Frank W. Ward, 45, of 171 Chapel Road, Oswego, with first-degree manslaughter, a Class B felony. The charge follows an investigation into the death of Irene Doviak of the town of Oswego.
The Oswego State baseball team defeated Brockport 12-9 in the second game of the championship round of the ECAC Upstate Tournament on Sunday in Oneonta. That gave Oswego State the tournament title for the second time in program history.
