Oswego County BOCES Staff and Students Remember Patriot’s Day
Students in the Public Safety and Justice Program at Oswego County BOCES held a special ceremony on Patriot’s Day marking the 8th anniversary of the tragic events from September 11, 2001. Onlookers watched in silence as the cadets stood at attention and members of the program’s flag detail raised both the American Flag and the New York State Flag.
Incoming Students at SUNY Oswego Among ‘Most Talented Classes’ Ever
Oswego received over 10,500 freshman applications, up 38.8 percent since 2005. This means the college has been more selective with admissions, accepting 47 percent this year compared to 56 percent four years ago.

Rotarians Support Youth Hockey
Fulton Rotary Club President, Gerald Seguin, left, presented Paul Clark, right, with a check for the Fulton Youth Hockey program. Fulton Youth Hockey is one of several programs for youth that Rotarians in Fulton support. Mr. Clark spoke about the economic impact Fulton Youth Hockey has on the greater Fulton community. The Fulton Youth Hockey program is run totally by volunteers and over the last few years has totally refurbished the community skating rink.

Oswego County Flu Clinics Begin on September 21
The Oswego County Health Department will hold its first seasonal flu clinic on Monday, September 21, from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Nick Sterio Public Health Clinic on Bunner Street in Oswego. The next flu clinics are scheduled for Wednesday, September 30 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the H. Douglas Barclay Courthouse on Bridge Street in Pulaski; and from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Nick Sterio Public Health Clinic on Bunner Street in Oswego.
