Scots-Jacobites To Rally At Old Fort Ontario

Citizens of Scottish descent or anyone interested in Scottish history are invited to attend the second annual Scots-Jacobite special event at Old Fort Ontario on Labor Day weekend, Saturday and Sunday, September 5-6.

County’s Camp Zerbe Restoration Considered

The deteriorated basketball court and lodge at the camp are considered safety hazards by the state. The Youth Bureau has funds to repair the court. It is seeking grant funding for work on the lodge.

Police Investigating Injuries To Toddler

At about 3:48 p.m. Wednesday, Oswego police officers and rescue personnel from the Oswego City Fire Department were dispatched to 136 W. Cayuga St. regarding a serious injury to a toddler. The toddler may have been struck by a passing vehicle which left the scene prior to the arrival of emergency personnel.

Former Pulaski Police Officer Sentenced To Community Service

His father, a county legislator, will return to court later this month. The pair was charged in connection with a property damage motor vehicle accident in the city of Oswego earlier this year.
