Voters returned all five of the incumbents to the Oswego Common Council. They will be joined by two newcomers, according to Tuesday night’s unofficial vote totals.
With about 80% of votes counted, Owens held about a 4,000 vote lead. There are as many as 11,000 absentee ballots yet to be counted and a handful of voting locations across the district had their voting machines sealed for hand counts beginning today.
Two east side residents are facing felony drug charges. During the search, investigators seized approximately 13.5 grams of cocaine, an undisclosed amount of cash, and an apparent stun gun disguised as a cell phone.
