Girl Scouts Aid Catholic Charities
The Elm Roads Service Unit of the Girl Scouts Council of Central New York held their annual Sock Hop in the CYO gym at Catholic Charities of Oswego County. The Sock Hop, which brings together Girl Scouts from troops in the greater Liverpool area, provided the Scouts with an afternoon of dancing, music, and games.

Live Nativity & Nativities by Candlelight at SW Oswego United Methodist Church
A little bit of Bethlehem comes to Southwest Oswego on Saturday, December 12th. Southwest Oswego United Methodist Church will present their annual “Live Nativity†from 6 until 8 p.m. Church members of all ages will portray the Holy Family, angels and Wise Men. The outdoor event takes place in the shed and also features live animals.

State Senators Wednesday filled most of a big gap in the state budget without hurting this year’s local school district budgets, but took a chunk out of next year’s budget in the process.

Fulton city lawmakers this week approved blending the jobs of City Clerk and City Chamberlain into one.
