Girl Scout’s Itsy Bitsy Project To Provide Big Benefits
Katherine Robinson, a Girl Scout Senior from Oswego, organized a crochet/knitting event to benefit micro-preemie babies within the community. At the event, dozens of volunteers helped her make hats, booties and blankets. They will all be donated to area hospitals.

Dancers, Audience to Mingle March 30, 31 for ‘Clandestino’
The line between dancers and audience will blur March 30 and 31 at SUNY Oswego’s Waterman Theatre when Mexican-American choreographer Alex Escalante presents his “Clandestino,” which explores the struggle to maintain one’s culture despite borders, boundaries, passports and green cards.

Plane Crashes in Palermo, Serious Injuries Reported
A small plane has crashed in the town of Palermo Sunday afternoon, according to officials.
It happened at around 3:30 p.m. near 1988 County Route 45, Palermo.
The pilot suffered leg and chest injuries and was flown by helicopter to the hospital. The passenger appeared to suffer less serious injuries, he said.
