Hoefer Supports Superintendent’s Plan For Oswego District
The Oswego School Board member says the superintendent is trying to do something right. Instead of cutting him, the board should give him a chance. “I want to see if he can pull this (budget) off with no tax increase,” Hoefer added. The superintendent will present his proposed spending plan next week.

Fulton School Budget Holds Spending Line, Cuts 18 Jobs
Fulton’s school budget picture looks a whole lot better than it did a week ago, though it will take as many as 18 lost jobs to do it.
The Board of Education Tuesday night reviewed the first official draft of the budget for 2010-2011. It is the product of months of work, including several public work sessions by a committee of administrators, board members and members of the public.
