Resident Professor of History, Dean Emeritus of the Humanities and Arts, and native Oswegonian James Francis Watts,  succumbed to prostate cancer after a 10-year struggle. A Memorial Mass will be held 10 a.m. Saturday (May 29, 2010) in St. Mary’s Church.

Sandy Creek Troop 830 Honors Our Veterans

Sandy Creek Troop 830 Boy Scouts, leaders and parents help VFW  Cable Trail Post #8534 (Lacona) members Leo Amyotte and Al Johnston pay  tribute to deceased veterans by placing gravesite remembrance flags at  Woodlawn and Boylston-Sandy Creek Wesleyan cemeteries. This Memorial Day  tradition has been part of the Troop's community service for more than  twenty years.
