The city’s Open Container Ordinance will NOT be lifted on Water Street during this year’s Harborfest celebration.
As such, the street will remain open, people won’t be allowed to congregate in the roadway and the Open Container Ordinance will be in effect and strictly enforced.

The Oswego City School District’s board of education recently heard recommendations to make the district safer, more efficient and better prepared for the future. The report contained recommendations for board action. There were also recommendations for Information / Technology, Business Department, schools and other departments.

UPDATED: Fulton Police have arrested 9 people, including three juveniles, for the break-in at the former Fulton Chocolate and Confections plant. The cost to clean the property was estimated at $3,800. It was also found that the individuals stole numerous miscellaneous items from throughout the property which totaled a cost of $4,254.50.
