You could say it was a hands-on experience as dozens of people helped make a 12’ x 15’ American Flag. The red stripes for the flag were made of handprints from Phoenix residents and other volunteers – young and old.

Now is the Time to Quit Smoking
The American Cancer Society schedules the Great American Smoke-out each year to encourage people to quit smoking for a day in the hope that they may quit for good. This year’s event was held on Thursday, November 18 and thousands of people across the country put down their packs and began a quit plan.
