Three Fulton Board of Education Members Won’t Run for Reelection

Members of the Fulton Board of Education are, from left, Dan Pawlewicz, Rae Howard, Robert Ireland, Brian Hotaling, Rosemary Occhino and Janet Truong.  Pawlewicz, Howard and Ireland are not running for reelection.  Truong recently resigned. Missing from the photo is longtime board member and current board President Robbin Griffin.An unusually large change is coming for the Fulton City School District Board of Education.

All three of the board’s six current members who are up for reelection this year have decided not to run.

Data: Oswego County Residents Among State’s Poorest

You probably didn’t need data to prove it, but there’s proof that Oswego County residents are among the poorest in the state.

Data from the federal Bureau of Economic Analysis shows county residents live in one of the ten counties that earn the least per capita income.

Angler Group Plans Spring Cleanup On Salmon River

A group of dedicated anglers will return to the Salmon River on May 7 – not to fish, but to pick up trash and debris – for their second annual Salmon River Cleanup. The Lake Ontario Tributary Anglers Council will meet at 10 a.m. at Fox Hollow Lodge, 2740 State Route 13.

Emergency Notification Sirens Will Be Tested May 2 – 6

Oswego Considers Operating Fish Cleaning Sites
