Margaret E. “Betty” Frawley, 92, of Fulton died Wednesday at St. Luke Health Services.

The local sports season is in full swing as the baseball, girls’ track and both varsity lacrosse teams were in action on Thursday. It was “Matt and the Bats” appearing at Leighton Field diamond as the Buc varsity baseball kicked off the 2011 season.
World-renowned artist David Garibaldi, who performed in 2009 in Oswego, is returning this upcoming Oct. 29 to perform his live stage show “Rhythm and Hue” at a Halloween Bash fundraiser for Farnham Family Services, an Oswego-based substance abuse clinic.

On March 20, multiple reports were received by the Fulton Police Department in reference to shots fired in the city. On Thursday (April 7), Timothy C. Lashomb was arrested and charged for his involvement in these shootings.
Joyce Malone had her sentencing postponed once again. In Oswego County Court this morning (April 8), her attorney Jim Eby, told Oswego County Court Judge Walt Hafner that his client had been hospitalized on Monday. She is hooked up to IVs in Oswego Hospital, he said.
