Representatives of every grade level at the Charles E. Riley Elementary School said a big “Thank You” to Novelis. Recently students and staff of the eastside Oswego elementary school expressed their gratitude to Novelis “Cans for the Community Committee” for its tremendous support.

Several officials from throughout Oswego County demonstrated their support for Oswego County Opportunities’ Senior Nutrition Services Program recently when they participated in the program’s Mayors for Meals Day by helping to deliver meals to OCO’s Senior Dining and Activity Centers

Taking place at the Oswego Armory, West First Street, from 1 to 4:30 p.m., the event features both a silent auction and a live auction, with an impressive selection of auction items to choose from. The event will also include the Oswego Community Christian School’s annual prize drawing.
The U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corp Truxtun DDG-103 Division in Oswego will hold its monthly drill May 14 and 15 at the McCrobie Building, 41 Lake St. The drill will be from 0700 (7 a.m.) May 14 until 1600 (4 p.m.) May 15.
