Sara B. Pooler, 29 formerly of Fulton, passed away Sunday, August 14th at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan following a brief illness.
Jeffrey D. Galloway, 57, a resident of Wolcott, NY, passed away August 18, 2011 at University Hospital, Syracuse.
Anne M. Shambo, 86, formerly of Ellen St. Oswego, passed away August 20, 2011 at St. Luke Health Services.
Hannibal’s interim Superintendent of Schools believes the district will soon be “in good shape” with the state’s recommendations to fix problems found in an audit.
The audit from the Office of the State Comptroller asked two questions: Did the district have procedures to make sure it was buying goods and services in the least expensive way, and did it have adequate control of its fuel inventories?
Both answers came back: No.
Looks like the big rain is behind us. Some nice weather is moving in for a while.
