Go Purple For Domestic Violence
In an effort to raise community awareness about the devastating impact of domestic violence and what services are available for victims in Oswego County, Services to Aid Families (SAF), a program of Oswego County Opportunities, Inc. (OCO), is asking community members to “Go Purple” as they recognize October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
New Attic Teen Center at Fulton First United Methodist Church
The Attic Teen Center at the First United Methodist Church, 1408 St. Rt. 176, Fulton (across from the Jr. High) invites all youth in the community, grades 7-12, to participate.
Scout Works To Spruce Up Great Bear
The project entailed a walkthrough with members of Friends of Great Bear and a forester from Oswego County Soil and Water Conservation District, identifying select areas in need of repair. Once the areas were identified, it was discussed and determined how each section would be repaired. Quantity, type of materials and tools needed were then determined.
OHS Volleyball Off To A Fast Start
Coach Mike Shea said, “This was another outstanding defensive performance. Brennan Richardson had his highest digs total with 14 while Dylan Lavner was on and consistently put the ball away. When we play good defense we get great opportunities on offense. We’re doing a good job of staying focused.”
