Some local business people acted as consultants for the student-run companies. Grades depend on what they gained from the experience and not on what they made during the sale. Funds benefit the school store and OHS Travel Club.

The performance of “Stone Soup” by the Charles E. Riley kindergarten students has become an annual holiday tradition at the east side Oswego elementary school.
