Oswego Warms Up For Annual Festival
Organizers said Warm Up Oswego 2012 was the biggest and best ever. Hundreds of people took part in activities inside and outside the Oswego YMCA Armory and all over the city as well. The event helped lift the Port City out of the winter doldrums.

St. Peter’s Church is celebrating its 150th Anniversary this year and is raising funds for the celebration as well as dedicating a shrine to honor Mother Marianne Cope, who is the namesake of the hall and slated to be canonized into sainthood this year.

Fire Strikes Senior Apartment Site In Pulaski – One resident is dead
UPDATE: One person has died as a sesult of the fire.
A Red Cross Disaster Action Team (DAT) is on the scene of a multi-unit apartment fire at 4917 Jefferson Street in Pulaski. A total of 120 seniors were evacuated to the village hall shortly after the incident. At this time, seniors are being let back into the apartment units, except for the floor where the fire damage was contained.

Rodrigues’ 5 Goals Pushes Oswego State Men’s Ice Hockey Team Over Morrisville
The line of Paul Rodrigues, Jon Whitelaw, and Luke Moodie recorded six goals and seven assists to help the second-ranked Oswego State men’s ice hockey team (17-2-2, 10-0-2 SUNYAC) defeat Morrisville, 8-1, Saturday night at the IcePlex.

Meagan Stover’s layup with 32 seconds remaining pulled the Oswego State women’s basketball team within two points of Cortland, but the Red Dragons were able to hold on for a 63-60 win Saturday afternoon.
