Fulton Rotarians Hear About Kilimanjaro Climb
A group of 23 SUNY Oswego students along with two teachers shared this two-week adventure with twelve days on the mountain accompanied by seventy-five native porters.
During the climb they experienced four different climate changes and a huge range of temperatures.

The Oz Roller Girls will bring Oswego’s newest sport to one of the city’s most historic buildings when they host Kingston Derby Girls’ Skateful Dead squad in the Oswego YMCA Armory on March 10.
Council Paves The Way For Summer Events In Port City
Approval was granted for a request from Shane Broadwell, Tri-Oswego Triathlon race director, for use of several city properties for the Tri-Oswego 2012 Triathlon on June 16 and 17. A request by the YMCA to use of Breitbeck Park and the McCrobie Civic Center for a Sept. 8 event – Dragon Boat Community Festival – was also OK’d.

The State Senate today passed a bill, cosponsored by State Senator Patty Ritchie, that repeals a mandate that forces businesses to waste money creating and storing millions of pieces of useless paperwork.
Top-seeded Oswego State Takes On Rival In Championship
The top-seeded Oswego State men’s ice hockey team will host No. 2-seed Plattsburgh in the SUNYAC Championship on Saturday at 7 p.m. Tickets are still available for the game.
