After a hard fought battle, the Oswego State men’s lacrosse team defeated Keuka College 11-7, Tuesday at South Athletic Field. The difference came in the fourth quarter when Oswego State scored four unanswered goals after going into the frame tied 7-7.

The Oswego State women’s lacrosse team was outscored 12-3 in the second half, as Clarkson (3-2) cruised to a 19-8 win Tuesday afternoon. Seniors Erin Cummings and Rachael Raffa posted four and three goals, respectively, for the Lakers (1-1).

Oswego School Board Puts Capital Project In Voters’ Hands
At its meeting Tuesday night, the Oswego School Board unanimously voted to present a referendum on the May 15 ballot for a large capital project. Voters will be asked to allow the district to spend up to $15 million on the project. The proposed cost of the work at five of the seven schools comes to $14,952,501, according to Superintendent Bill Crist.
