After a hard fought battle, the Oswego State men’s lacrosse team defeated Keuka College 11-7, Tuesday at South Athletic Field. The difference came in the fourth quarter when Oswego State scored four unanswered goals after going into the frame tied 7-7.

At its meeting Tuesday night, the Oswego School Board unanimously voted to present a referendum on the May 15 ballot for a large capital project. Voters will be asked to allow the district to spend up to $15 million on the project. The proposed cost of the work at five of the seven schools comes to $14,952,501, according to Superintendent Bill Crist.
Rose Falanga Duca, 83, of Oswego died Saturday March 24, 2012, unexpectedly at her home after a brief illness.
