A hot-hitting freshman drove in the winning run in its final at-bat, as the Oswego State (8-11, 1-2 SUNYAC) baseball team equaled its conference win total from last season with a 6-5 victory in game one of a doubleheader at Oneonta.
After losing the first game of a conference doubleheader, the Oswego State softball team continued to show its resiliency by posting a 10-8 come-from-behind win over Brockport Saturday afternoon.

The Oswego State women’s lacrosse team was not able to match the firepower from No. 3-ranked Cortland, as the Lakers dropped their conference and home opener to the Red Dragons by the score of 19-6. Cortland scored eight of the first nine goals and never looked back.
