Eighteen second graders at Riley Elementary School read 15 Caldecott Award books in January and February to join the Riley Caldecott Club. On March 9 , they celebrated their achievement with a visit from Lucy, a certified Reading Education Assistant Dog.
Durwood A. Whitman, a resident of Pulaski, has earned an Associate in Science degree from Excelsior College. Excelsior College is an accredited, private, nonprofit institution that focuses on the needs of working adults.
