CNY Arts Center Continues Writing Fun

Students receive individual instruction from author Jim Farfaglia during Break into Writing presented by CNY Arts Center at Fulton Public Library. For more information on the next session, visit www.CNYArtsCenter.comWith spring break right around the corner, CNY Arts Center plans to continue the fun started with Winter Break into Writing. Jim Farfaglia, local author and poet, will again host “Break into Writing” at Fulton Public Library for 10-14 year olds, 10 a.m. to noon April 2-6.

February 2012 Was Fourth Warmest Since 1969

While we did get some snow last month, the temperature was warm enough to allow for for some bird watching in spring-like weather.The average temperature last month was 32.2 degrees. That’s 6.8 degrees warmer than average, according to Bill Gregway, local observer for the National Weather Service. Going all the way back to 1854, it ranks as the 6th warmest in Port City history.
