Fulton Saving Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested
At approximately 5 p.m. Thursday, sheriff’s detectives and Cicero police responded to a robbery reported at the Fulton Savings Bank, located at 5501 Bartel Road. At approximately 11:40 p.m., a suspect was located in the parking lot of the Carousal Mall and was taken in to custody with out incident.

After dropping the first game of a twinbill, the Oswego State softball team (9-12) bounced back in a big way with a 10-4 victory over visiting SUNYIT (13-8).

Wind Power Blows Up Debate Among Legislators
In March of 2010, the Oswego County Legislature approved a resolution opposing the development of a wind farm in the shallow waters of Lake Ontario near the Oswego County shoreline. New efforts are under way that could bring the matter back to the forefront in the county.

Senior Erin Cummings (Valley Cottage, N.Y.) recorded 12 points on seven goals and five assists to lead an Oswego State women’s lacrosse offensive attack that saw seven players score in a 23-8 win over Alfred on Thursday afternoon.
