Several volunteers, conservation organizations and angler groups have worked together over the past few years to help slow the spread of water chestnuts in Oswego County rivers.
The Oswego County Department of Social Services will sponsor an informational meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. June 5, at the DSS Office, 100 Spring St., Mexico, for persons who are interested in becoming foster or adoptive parents.
