OK, it’s mid-May. Why does it feel like early April?
Area students can still sign up for Oswego Hospital’s MASH Camp (Medical Academy of Science and Health) to be held Aug. 1 and 2. The deadline to register has been extended until May 18. The camp is open to students entering the eighth or ninth grade in the fall.
Several local residents are candidates for associate degrees and certificates this year at Herkimer County Community College. There are 660 candidates for the associate degree and 67 candidates for certificates.
Fulton’s G. Ray Bodley High School Jazz Band is scheduled to perform at the 31st Annual Fulton Memorial Day Salute on Friday, May 25 at 5 p.m.

April showers didn’t quite live up to expectations last month. The average temperature last month was 45.8 degrees. That is 1.1 degrees warmer than normal. However, total precipitation for the month came in at 2.14 inches. That is 1.18 inches below average.
