The old racing saying, “High-Wide And Handsome” applied to Mike Mahaney Saturday night at the Fulton Speedway. Mahaney back behind the wheel of his family owned Big Blocked Modified took the lead on lap 7, and then held off 2012 Track Champion Billy Decker, riding the cushion on a wicked fast surface.

SUNY Oswego art students to display paintings produced in the open air
SUNY Oswego students painting “en plein air” — in the open air — for a summer course will exhibit their work starting Sept. 14, at Oswego State Downtown. The opening reception will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. at the store and gallery, on the corner of West First and Bridge streets in Oswego. The exhibition will run through Oct. 20.
