MaryLou Wolbert, 84, a resident of Scriba, passed away Thursday October 25, 2012, at home.
The presentation, offered Nov. 15, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at SUNY Oswego Phoenix Center, will feature guest speaker Jim Moragne, consultant and former employee of New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities, retiring after more than 30 years of service.
Oswego’s locally owned Greenspace Home & Garden is on a mission to offer goods made or grown in New York State by family-owned farms and local artisans. Soon after opening, Greenspace Home & Garden gained a reputation for carrying uncommon and high-quality items.
All proceeds raised by the event help the Fulton club provide area residents with eye examinations, eyeglasses and hearing aids.
Quirk’s Players present a hard-hitting, real-life drama tonight and Saturday when the student actors perform “The Laramie Project”. The play is a series of conversations that took place after the 1998 hate crime murder of gay college student Matthew Shepard in Laramie, Wyoming.
