Unique Hair Shoppe & Nails of Elegance in Fulton have partnered with Oswego County Opportunities’ Cancer Services Program to raise awareness of breast cancer and support the agency’s efforts to reduce breast cancer rates in Oswego County.

Emily Bradshaw, a 12-year-old seventh grade student from Oswego spoke to the Fulton Sunrise Rotary Club recently about her crusade to have a homeless shelter in the area.

DEAR, Drop Everything And Read, was celebrated at the school as part of the school’s Read 100K reading incentive. The day-long celebration of reading entitled Celebrate Literacy included many other activities and events centered around literacy.
