Army Pvt. David M. Finch Jr. has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
Lauren Antone of Central Square has enrolled at The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY. Antone, a graduate of Paul V Moore High School, is one of 595 students who make up the college’s class of 2016.

World Day of Bullying Prevention was also a part of the Charles E. Riley Elementary School Day. Students created artwork recognizing the problem.

The city’s billing database for water and sewer users is in need of review, the chamberlain said. It’s been in place since 2003. “There is a lot that’s happened to the database since 2003 and we want to make sure we get it accurate going forward,” she said.
