The Oswego Cutting Crew Hair Salon is partnering with Oswego County Opportunities, Crisis & Development Services to sponsor a family. On December 2, The Oswego Cutting Crew Hair Salon, on Route 104 East in the Oswego Plaza will hold a cut-a-thon from 4 – 6 p.m.
The Manor at Seneca Hill remembered residents and participants of its Adult Day Health Services program that passed away in the past year during a memorial service held November 18 at the skilled nursing facility.
Graduate student Bailey Smith sought the help of her fellow students to gather a rental van-load of food, water, winter clothing, batteries, blankets and more, and drove there the weekend of Nov. 10 and 11. “It looks like the end of the world down there,” Smith said. “I think tears ran down my face from the moment we got there until the moment we left.”

The Salvation Army of Oswego County is hosting a Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday from noon to 1:30 p.m. It will be served at the Salvation Army of Oswego County Citadel, 73 W. Second St., Oswego. A traditional Thanksgiving dinner is provided at no cost to the community
