Scholars, scientists, educators and students are invited to submit proposals for the Rice Creek Associates Small Grants Program by Feb. 15. Approved projects must involve work at SUNY Oswego’s Rice Creek Field Station.

Oswego firefighters continued their annual tradition of assisting the Human Concerns Center on East Fourth Street to help those less fortunate at Thanksgiving. On Tuesday, they helped provide a holiday meal basket for more than 240 area families.

Oswego Speedway will take part in this Saturday’s Toys for Tots Day of Sharing at the Lake Ontario Event and Conference Center located on East First Street as a part of the Best Western PLUS Captain’s Quarters hotel. The event offers several free activities as well as photos with Santa made available with the contribution of a new and un-opened toy.
