The Oswego varsity basketball teams had a tough time with Nottingham on Tuesday night. The Lady Bucs lost at home 49-24 while the boys fell 58-57 in the Bulldogs’ house.

Paige Steinbrecher and Lillylyn Humiston-Seaton are preschoolers at the Discovery Day Care Head Start Program and they are dressed up and pretending they are going to the grocery store to get groceries.
The Oswego State Athletic Department will be sponsoring its first-ever Military Appreciation Nights on Jan. 25 when the Laker men’s ice hockey team plays Brockport at 7 p.m. and Jan. 26 when the Laker men’s and women’s basketball teams play Cortland starting at 6 p.m.
The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, a division of SUNY Oswego’s Office of Business and Community Relations, will hold a volunteer orientation for retired or semi-retired adults at 10 a.m. Jan. 22, at the Oswego Public Library community room.
