Patrick M. Smith, 52, of Fulton, died Sunday, December 30, 2012, at University Hospital in Syracuse.
Nellie T. Osetek, 92, a resident of Ellen Street, Oswego, passed away January 10, 2013, at St. Luke Health Services.
Beverly E. Southgate, 82, a resident of Syracuse and a former resident of Oswego passed away Wednesday morning January 9, 2013, at the Van Duyn Home in Syracuse.
Gordon L. Heagle, 68, a resident of Oswego passed away on Monday January 7, 2013, at home following a lengthy illness.
“DeVine Designs by Gail” purchased one of the first reserved table for the Oswego Lions Club Comedy night. The event is scheduled for February 1 at the American Foundry. Jamie Lissow will be the headline comedian for the show.
Influenza is impacting all of Central New York, with many counties reporting historic numbers of flu cases already. “Oswego County has received reports of over 700 cases of influenza since October,” reported Jiancheng Huang, Public Health Director for Oswego County.
It will be even milder on Friday. There is a good chance for rain showers as well.
