One night after Bobby Gertsakis (So., Pickering, Ontario) scored his first collegiate goal he wasted no time scoring the second and third to help the No. 2/5 Oswego State men’s ice hockey team (20-3-0, 13-1-0 SUNYAC) skate past Fredonia (7-14-3, 5-8-2) Saturday night.
After sticking with the third-ranked team in the nation Friday night, the Oswego State women’s ice hockey team (10-10-1, 8-6-0 ECAC West) lost to Elmira (20-3-1, 14-2-0), 6-0, Saturday afternoon on Senior Day.
The Oswego State men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams competed at the Geneseo Invitational on Saturday in their final competition leading up to the SUNYAC Championships.

In honor of Valentine’s Day, children are invited to volunteer at the Fulton Public Library on February 12 for ‘Have a Heart.’ Participants will be making cards and colored popcorn to be given to the seniors residing at the Ladies Home of Oswego.
The local pizzeria is donating pizzas for a Children’s Room Story Hour, a coloring contest, a Digital Media Club Wii Party and for a special Wii for Seniors event in the library’s Community Room.
