Fulton City School District Collaboration Day Set March 13
On March 13, the students within the Fulton City School District in grades UPK – 12 will have an early dismissal. Grades 7 – 12 will dismiss at 10:30 a.m. and morning Pre K – 6 will dismiss at 11:15 a.m. There will be no afternoon Pre-K classes.

Phoenix Man charged with Sex Abuse 1st degree
The New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation has arrested Ryan J. Pontello, of 187 County Route 12, Phoenix, for a single count of Sexual Abuse 1st degree (Class D Felony) and a single count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child (Class A Misdemeanor).

Jillian O’Brien of Oswego has been named to the Dean’s List for the 2012-13 fall semester at Geneva College. Dean’s List status is awarded to students who earn a 3.6 grade point average or better.

Fulton Sells Closed Gas Station Sold at Common Council Meeting
On Tuesday, the Common Council approved the sale of the former Valero gas station on West First Street. The building has been on the market for almost six years, and was purchased by a local man who hopes to renovate the building and create a business he can pass down.
