The Oswego State baseball team (10-8, 3-4 SUNYAC) struggled to score runs on Saturday, falling in both games of a doubleheader against New Paltz (9-12, 6-4) by scores of 10-1 and 6-3 to complete the three-game series sweep.
Patricia A. Petrie, 88, a resident of East Cayuga Street, Oswego, passed away Friday April 5, 2013, at Oswego Hospital.
“Once Upon a Mattress” will aim to be a treat for eyes and ears when it takes the stage at SUNY Oswego’s Waterman Theatre starting with a preview at 8 p.m. April 18. The college’s theatre and music departments will present the comic tale at 8 p.m. April 19, 20 and 27, with a concluding matinee at 2 p.m. April 28.

The Mount Adnah Preservation Foundation constructed a Memorial Brick Walkway at the site of the Case Memorial Chapel in Mount Adnah Cemetery in 2009. The walkway was constructed with funds donated in memory of Dawn Rogers Rowlee, a former director of the Mount Adnah Preservation Foundation.

The Oswego State softball team (4-9, 1-2 SUNYAC) was unable to match Buffalo State’s (8-7, 3-2) offense in the first game of Friday’s doubleheader as the Lakers fell 10-4. Game two of the doubleheader proved to be a slugfest, but the game was suspended due to darkness.
