David, an eight- year member of the club, is past president and current chair of the Oswego Rotary Foundation, and a member of various leadership committees at the club and District 7150 level.

A series of professional development programs for women at the SUNY Oswego Phoenix Center became the focus of the State University of New York as the SUNY Leadership Institute was planning its annual Leadership Tools for Women conference. As a result, the Phoenix Center will co-sponsor this year’s conference June 21.
The Oswego County Health Department recently celebrated National Nurses Week by honoring its nursing staff and partnering healthcare workers. The Nursing Division is the largest sector of the department and its workers provide comprehensive at-home healthcare services to residents throughout the county.
The society has been very busy this spring with public hours most every day between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Various volunteers are staffing the building and helping researchers during these times. The Captain’s Choir of Fitzhugh Park School presented music teacher Garrett Heater with a herculean task as they wanted a musical based on the maritime tragedy Titanic for their annual musical. “Tillie and Tipper Aboard the Titanic” will be performed on Thursday and Friday at the Robinson-Faust Theatre at 7 p.m.
