The full-length play will run August 16-18 at CNY Arts Center located at 357 State St., Fulton. More than 30 children will tell the beloved tale of Wilbur, the little pig, being saved by an unlikely hero, Charlotte, the spider.

The sixth graders of the Fitzhugh Park Elementary School celebrated their final days at the east side school with the annual recognition ceremony. The highlight of the afternoon came as each student received their certificate in recognition of their accomplishments.

The U.S. Naval Sea Cadets Truxtun DDG-103 Division will hold a chicken BBQ on July 20. All proceeds will help the Truxtun DDG-103 Division to go to Norfolk Naval Base to visit and get hands-on training through the naval base. The BBQ starts at 11 a.m. and will last until gone
