Most attendees of baseball games at Kiwanis Park in Fulton have had issues with parking from time to time. Previously, on the blocks of South Seventh Street between Fay Street and the park “No Parking 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.” signs marked the street. Mayor Woodward announced at Tuesday’s Common Council meeting a code change would go into effect and “No Parking” signs will replace the previous signs.

On July 2, State Police in Pulaski arrested Raye A. Chamberlain, a 40-year-old female from Oswego, for two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class “A” misdemeanor. Chamberlain was charged after an investigation into the inadequate care of a 16-year-old girl.

The Oswego County Health Department announced today (July 3) that the David C. Webb Memorial Park Bathing Beach on Oneida Lake in the town of Constantia has been closed to swimming due to the presence of a blue-green algae bloom. The beach will remain closed until the blooms have cleared and the health department approves its re-opening.
The suspect vehicle was unable to properly negotiate the intersection at Bunner Street at Maple Street and reportedly collided with a marked Oswego City Police Department patrol vehicle. Hard work paid off for Madeline Galvin, Tory Jaskula and Sarah Mancuso. The trio finished at the top of their classes. Tory was Valedictorian of Oswego High School while Sarah was Salutatorian at Oswego High School. Madeline was Salutatorian at Mexico High School.
