The river’s end bookstore is offering the next in its series of programs for writers and those interested in becoming writers. “School Days, School Ways: Recalling How and What We Learned” will explore the memories we have related to our school years: favorite teachers, best friends, embarrassing classroom moments, first crushes, etc.

Not that many years ago, scores of anglers stood shoulder to shoulder in the Oswego River reeling in lunkers. Over the years, due to several factors, fishing in the Oswego River has petered out considerably. Now, city officials are looking for ways to revive the sport.
State Police in Fulton are investigating a personal injury accident that occurred at approximately 10:15 a.m. Tuesday on State Route 3 in the town of Hannibal. The driver was taken to Oswego Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, troopers said.
