PACS Varsity Girls’ Cross Country season continues at sectional meet

The Pulaski Girls Varsity Cross Country team won the Patriot National Division and will advance to sectionals on November 2 at Jamesville Beach. Pictured, in front, left to right are: Jessica Pastuf, Hanna Greulich, Aleah Laflame, Cassie Horridge, Shelby Sheehan, Hanah Bridges, Megan Jennings, Ruth Clark, and Coach Jack Jennings.Jack Jennings, coach of the PACS Girls Varsity Cross Country team said his team has made great strides this year, with all participants continuing to improve as the season has progressed. The varsity team, made up of girls in grades 9-12 at Pulaski High School, finished the regular season with a record of 6-1 winning the Patriot National Division Championship.

Last Push to Reach Engage CNY Survey Goal

The Engage CNY Survey results as of October 18. Oswego County needs 351 more participants to reach its goal.With one week left, Oswego County is only 351 responses short of the goal for the online survey created by Engage CNY. The Engage CNY survey is the first stage in a new initiative, led by CNY Arts to make Central New York a better place to live, work, play, and visit. The survey was distributed to residents and visitors in the counties of Oswego, Onondaga, Cortland, Madison, Oneida and Herkimer.

Families flocked to the Fulton Education Center gymnasium Thursday night to see Mother Goose and participate in a variety of learning activities during UPK Family Literacy Night. Carri Waloven, the district’s director of UPK and literacy, said the event is an opportunity to bring families together in a fun learning environment.
