Google Car Visits Oswego County

Google Car Visits Oswego CountyA Google Maps Camera Car was recently spotted in the city of Oswego. It was being prepared for a day of capturing images. These specially-equipped cars are fitted with various directional cameras, GPS units and laser range scanners for recording rough 3D images which are then “stitched” together to provide panoramic views.

Girl Scouts Sponsor Cabin at Camp Hollis Family Harvest Day

Oswego Girl Scouts were well represented recently at the second Camp Hollis Family Harvest Day. They sponsored a cabin and decorated it for Halloween. The girls had fun handing out candy along with Girl Scout stickers and bookmarks to all the trick-or-treaters.
