Now in its ninth year at SUNY Oswego, the project is part of an annual statewide community-service project by Student-Athlete Advisory Council chapters at all 11 SUNY Athletic Conference colleges. SAAC’s mission is to generate a student-athlete voice among Oswego’s intercollegiate teams and to enhance school spirit within athletics.
The ToGetHerThere College Life program is taking place on October 11 from 8:50 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Fulton Campus of Cayuga Community College, 11 River Glen Drive.

After a year of construction on a new field station, SUNY Oswego’s Rice Creek invites the public to a welcome-back afternoon of events titled “Celebrating Science at Rice Creek” on Oct. 12, to highlight science research, programming and fun with nature at the popular 400-acre living laboratory.
Two of Oswego’s best chefs will be creating six delicious courses for guests of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County’s Fourth Annual Oswego County Harvest Dinner on October 18. The dinner will showcase the quality and diversity of agriculture in Oswego County by featuring locally grown and sourced food from local farmers and agriculture businesses.
For the past two years, Ritchie has partnered with the New York State Military Museum and Veterans Research Center, located in Saratoga Springs, to submit more than two dozen interviews with local veterans.
