The video “Land of Dreams” told how the lure of free land and a better life drew1.6 million people from all over the world to unsettled parts of America. The romanticism touted by promoters did not mention the hardships and other problems. Homesteaders had to “Prove up” the land by building a home and planting crops.

The Manor Holds Memorial Service To Remember Past Residents

The Manor at Seneca Hill remembered residents and participants of its Adult Day Health Services program who have passed away during the last year at a memorial service held at the skilled nursing facility. Leading the services was the Rev. Chuck Davis, who provides spiritual care at The Manor and belongs to the Pulaski Assembly of God Church.
