The Oswego County District Attorney’s Office has been awarded $11,708 in state funds to help local law enforcement agencies purchase equipment for video recording of statements. The project is overseen by the state Division of Criminal Justice Services and is intended to help law enforcement efforts and prosecution outcomes by videotaping interviews and interrogations.
Recently, there was a celebration of Andrew Carnegie’s 178th birthday at the Fulton public Library, 160 S. First St. Carnegie funded the library to come to Fulton. Carnegie was a primary benefactor of the library in Fulton.
The Oswego City School District Board of Education will meet for committee and a regular meeting on Wednesday. It will start at 5 p.m. at the Charles E. Riley Elementary School.
